Every Church has a beginning…
Week after week, God brought people together. Friendships became family. Faith deepened. Lives were transformed by the hope of the Gospel. What began as a small home gathering gradually grew into a local church, a community shaped not by programs, but by the presence of Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Today, God’s Body Church meets in North York while serving people from across the Greater Toronto Area. Our congregation includes individuals and families from different walks of life who share one desire: to know Jesus more deeply, to live according to His Word, and to reflect His love wherever God has placed them.
We believe that the Church is far more than a building or a weekly service. It is the Body of Christ, a spiritual family where people are welcomed, discipled, encouraged, and equipped to follow Jesus together.
Our mission is simple: to help Persian-speaking people, and anyone seeking truth and hope, discover new life in Christ. We long to see lives rooted in God’s Word, transformed by His grace, shaped through discipleship, and sent into the world as faithful witnesses of His love.Our story is still being written.
And we believe the Author is God Himself.
We exist to invite people to know Jesus Christ, grow through faithful biblical teaching, pastoral care, biblical counselling, and discipleship, and be equipped to reflect Christ’s love and truth in their families, churches, and communities.
We envision a Christ-centered, Scripture-rooted community where lives are restored by God’s grace, believers mature in faith, and people are sent to share the hope of Christ wherever God leads them.
Meet Our Pastor
Nathanael Fallahi serves as the Pastor and Church Planter of God’s Body Church.
His journey in ministry has been shaped by years of serving Persian-speaking believers through biblical teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, and biblical counselling. Much of that journey unfolded in Iran, where he walked alongside Christians who learned to live out their faith with quiet courage, steadfast hope, and deep dependence on God.When a new chapter of life began in Canada, the calling remained the same. Together with his wife, Samaneh, he continues to serve with a simple vision: that the church would be more than a place people attend, it would become a spiritual home where lives are rooted in Scripture, transformed by the grace of Christ, and shaped into faithful disciples.With academic training in theology, psychology, and counselling, Nathanael seeks to bring together thoughtful biblical teaching, compassionate pastoral care, and authentic relationships. His desire is not merely to preach sermons, but to walk alongside people as they discover the hope, healing, and purpose found in Jesus Christ.He believes that the heart of pastoral ministry is found long before the pulpit, in listening well, praying faithfully, opening God’s Word, and walking with people through every season of life.For Nathanael, the greatest joy is to see ordinary people become mature followers of Jesus Christ, reflecting His love in their families, workplaces, churches, and communities.
